It is awesome you are starting out. I am far from experienced in the manner but be careful with the CC's. I am thinking there could be some bad outcomes. If you are left with a big balance when the 0% expires, you will then be facing huge APR's. CC APR's are very large, depending on your credit, but in general quite large. If you can't get those paid off in time for a factor of reasons (house don't sell, under budgeting, contractor deadlines not being met, the list goes on) you will be paying heavily in interest.
Define criteria. If you plan on investing in Memphis start thinking about where and in what. Relay that information to some local real estate agent with good reviews, who are preferably investor friendly. They can get you some leads. Keep networking, look for a local meetup, keep digging, you will get answers.
@Jeffrey Grieshop how could I go about acquiring rental properties without using cc’s? My credit is in the high 700 range but I would like to acquire more than 1 rental property at a time

@Frank Patalano what's holding me back is fear of failing. I've started my LLC and business account and have 2 major cc with 0% interest. I've reached out to several different people to pick their brains but no one has called me back. I'm just lost. Looking to get started in Memphis

@Jason D. My husband I were thinking the same thing. Our finances are pretty good. We just don't have 25k to fork over and We're still new to REI so I don't want to get taken advantage of. We were hoping to learn and just to be taken under some one wings and guided, but I think we're going to just continue to self educate and attend meetings and use our money in marketing

I recently attended a FortuneBuilders Seminar and spoke to a coach 1on 1. Originally they wanted us to purchase the Mastery program but it was too expensive. So we were offered the Jumpstart program which is costly as well. Speaking to the coach we’ve opened up 2 Credit cards that gives us a total of $25,800. Now we’re very apprehensive about giving money away especially in this amount. We’re thinking maybe we could use this capital that we for marketing and trying to acquire property. Any suggestions on the route we should take?

My husband parents are downsizing and they're going to give us our first rental property. Now his parents still owe $85,000 on their home in Baltimore. I've been listening to Chris Goff I learned about wrap around mortgage, but I'm still very confused about the entire thing. My credit is amazing, and our father isn't requiring us put a dp or anything. If anyone could explain the process to me I would great he's going to sign the contract by the end of the week
