@Troy S. , I have some units in the northwest and a small condo in the museum area (originally purchased as my first home, but now I'm living in one of the NW units and renting the condo). Will probably be looking in some areas of S. Philly for my next purchase. This way I can continue to have all my projects be as far away and hard to get to as possible. :-p How about you?

I just found this forum, as well as some local groups here in Philly! I've been actively investing for about 4 years without much opportunity to talk with or learn from other investors, so I'm really excited to have found these networks! In the past I've done some purchases of rental properties, all of which I've rehabbed to some extent, one pretty extensively. With some rehab experience now I'm thinking flipping is going to be my best way to move forward, with the eventual goal of putting profits back into rentals. For my first flip I'll be looking for a small house in an up and coming area. I'm working on getting all my ducks in a row now and looking for for other investors and real estate professionals to talk with, especially in the Philly area!
