Howdie BP! Nathan here, from Columbus, OH. I have been following the site and REI for about 6 months or so and getting ready to "trust fall" off the deep end of the real estate pool and "fail forward!" I was excited to discover a community like this and to learn how many legends of real estate and power hitters are actually members of this site, as well as, all of us in between.

I have held a W-2 job since I was 13 years old and have started 2 businesses in the past. My 1st I started when I was 21, and my second when I was 27. Neither really succeeded but I learned a lot from those businesses and am grateful for the experience. I am an Eagle Scout, former Police Cadet and Auxiliary Officer, and a CDL Truck driver!

I never would have dreamed of getting into real estate but last year after I came across a podcast about real estate investing, I was hooked. I realized from listening and reading interviews with investors, the people here have the exact drive, dedication, passion, and resilience that I do and have been looking to network with! Not only have I found individuals interested in growing a successful life for themselves but who understand the process of giving and assisting others which ultimately helps yourself. Something I have always believed.

So enough of the positive hippy talk, I realize I'm just speaking generally here. Nothing is always sunshine and rainbows, but I did just want to introduce myself to the community and encourage you to network with me. As I gain more and more knowledge you'll be seeing me more around here helping others with advice! Have a good weekend community, and best success in 2017 and beyond!
