@Bruce Woodruff where in SoCal did you buy? Yes we are very sure we want to buy property in the desert. We like Joshua tree, twenty nine palms, Lucerne  valley , Apple valley we have a vast desert land as you know. End game after more consideration is to buy low and well high. 

@Joe Schmitt thanks for the pointers I’m going to look into taking a course right away. 

I am new to the game and I have very little capital to start. So i am considering starting out by buying vacant land in strategic locations around southern Cali and holding on until i can flip it for a profit. Also interested in buying land with an old foundation and or tiny house on it. Then fix the house and do short term rentals. Is there anyone out there with this type of experience? Any one out there in the BP world that knows where i can get started doing something like this?
