Anybody flipping in Colorado Springs? Previous experience is in construction, architecture, land planning, and urban design. Lots of design and construction experience domestically and internationally if anyone is interested in partnering or just wants to connect.

Thanks! The carpet is saturated and I'm sure the subfloor is in similar condition. The walls didn't look bad, so I was hoping to scrub them and paint, but didn't want to make the mistake of assuming the drywall could stay and then need to all be ripped out.
Hey Meghan, I'm not sure I understand the debt/service ratio. However, thanks for all the info.

Hi All, I am considering flipping a house that has extensive pet damage. Dogs and cats urinated all over the carpets and the house now has a very strong ammonia smell. I've never dealt with this issue. Is it as simple as ripping out the carpet and subfloor and painting? Or does the drywall have to go? Thank Neil

Hi All, My wife and I are looking at buying a home to renovate and live in for 2 years while we are preparing/building our home...then rent it once we move out. We found a 4/2.5 for 187k that would need 30k of rehab, comps for 245k and rents for around 1600. It's not quite a house hack, I suppose it could be a long term brrrr or just run it as a rental? How should I be looking at this property? Thanks!! Neil

Hey Everyone,

My wife and I bought some land and have intentions of building a home in 2 years. We are currently renting, but would instead like to purchase a home that we would convert into a rental once we build. Our goal is to find a home that fits us(that may not be prefect), but will be a wise rental investment. We are just getting started and this would be our first investment property. What should we be looking for? We live in Colorado Springs, CO. Thanks in advance!
