Hi,
I'm looking for an investor-friendly waterproofing company in Indy. Looks like general companies require an owner to be onsite during the inspection but what if I'm out of state and still need to get this done? Doesn't make sense as I am just a phone call away. Any recommendations, please?
Need to fix a leak in the basement wall and I don't want it to get complicated for me. Thanks

Hi BiggerPockets Community! I'm looking for a handyman/ general contractor who would be willing to help me out and be my boots on the ground in Indianapolis and help me to check on the property from time to time and help with some repairs if required. If someone can share their to-go person with good recommendations I'd really appreciate it. Trying to get my systems in place to self-manage out of state.
Thank you!

Thank you, Tracey! This is very helpful! Would you happen to have this contractor's info so I can contact him to see if he'll be open to working with me as well? If it's convenient since my property is in Indianapolis. Thank you!

Hi BiggerPockets Community! I'm a new investor here. Recently purchased a property in Indianapolis and trying to see if I can self-manage. But immediately hit the question of a state requirement where I need a local person to add to the list for my insurance since the state is not allowing me to self-manage out of state by myself? As per my understanding, this person is a contact on file and they are listed as someone who can check on the property more often than I can. But in reality, is this person ever going to be bothered?
