Does anyone know a NJ realtor who specializes, or has a lot of experience, in multifamily properties? I'm looking to buy a multifamily (2-4 units) in Northern NJ, live in one unit and rent out the other(s), ideally using an FHA loan.

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a good, basic book that will diagram all the steps in a real estate purchase?  Been reading a lot of books about real estate investing which casually mention "before you close escrow", "working with your lender", "getting a contractor to walk the property", "putting it under contract."  I'm looking for something basic which lays out these steps in order, kind of a "life of a real estate purchase, start to finish" type of book.

Thanks!

Nick
