My name is Nieko, I am a brand new Bigger Pockets site member after being a long time surveyor of the youtube channel and listener of the podcasts, and have now decided to jump into the mix of things, I just wanted to start a discussion on peoples first real estate Acquisitions, see how they were feeling during the process, did you do a super detective method of knowing every little itsy-bitsy detail before you bought in? Were such a newbie that you just dove straight into the deal that looked like gold from your "youtube academy" research?
Maybe you haven't Purchased yet and are waiting for the butterflies to leave you stomach so you can finally buckle down and start using those Bigger Pockets Calculators and punch in some of those zillow listings you've been eyeing to see if they're worth it (currently my position lol)
Im a new forum poster and also bright eyed and bushy tailed in the world of real estate, looking to hopefully gain some real world insight to couple with all the technical aspects of real estate investing! hope to hear some of your stories!
