Lakshay G. In some cases that is accurate. Taxes in the City can be exorbitant compare to the County. This is similar to places like Frederick City compared to Frederick County. That said the easiest thing to do is have your loan officer provide you a spreadsheet with some comparisons. Good luck.

Charles Mullins if your daughter has some steady income and she plans to occupy the property, then you should be able to purchase it as a primary home for her. You can use FHA or conventional with you being the non-occupant co-borrower. If using conventional, make sure that your loan is going to be sold to Freddie as opposed to FNMA. If your daughter doesn't have any income, then you will need to buy it as an investment property. For tax advantage purposes, it will come down to a number of factors, but I would highly recommend that you run your options by your CPA if you have one. All the best,

Ron Turner if you are a US citizen and you have been filing your taxes then I don't see what the problem is. Right out of the IRS site. .... "If you are a U.S. citizen or resident alien, the rules for filing income, estate, and gift tax returns and paying estimated tax are generally the same whether you are in the United States or abroad. Your worldwide income is subject to U.S. income tax, regardless of where you reside." Some of your foreign earned income may be excluded from taxes, but that doesn't mean it can't be considered qualifying income. You earned the income, so I'm not sure why your lender is telling you that you need a W2. The fact that you are transferring back to the US with the same company is even better and makes it easier for your lender to say-YES. However, you will most likely be paid a different amount State side, and that's what your lender should use to qualify you. Get the official transfer letter from your company-and if the company you work for is an international company; then it makes it should be easier. Just find the right lender. One other thing-your underwriter may want to see that you get paid one pay stub before settlement. Good luck.

Spencer Glaser if you want to buy a new home as an FHA purchase, and you currently have another mortgage (vacating primary property) that is a conv loan or fha loan (doesn’t matter which kind) and on that property you want to use rental income, the guideline for FHA states that then in order to use that rental income on that vacating current primary the new home must be located over 100 miles away.

Be careful... "Effective Wednesday, October 15, 2013, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act passed a new rule that states any company that sends SMS marketing messages (texts to your cell phone) without prior written consent from recipients could potentially face fines of up to $1,500 per text". Some years ago, I think it was 2005, when it became illegal to send unsolicited faxes to someone, I knew of a young kid that bought a bunch of Efax numbers and sat in his basement and wait for all kinds of junk faxes coming through them, then complained and received $500 for each page that he received. He made a killing 😂 with all those companies...this was at the height of mortgage companies sending out unsolicited faxes for NINA and Stated mortgages. Back then, while people were originating loans, he was collecting on unsolicited junk faxes. Talk about opportunity. Lol. So be

@Amia Jackson sorry for the tardy reply. Looking at this, it does not seem to be too terribly off base.  The only item that I would say you can probably negotiate is the loan origination fee.  The rest are pretty standard. One thing to remember is that you guys in PA have all kinds of taxes, property, school, etc and all of that appears to be included here. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Amia Jackson without seeing the other top part of your estimate, I can't really tell. Post the 800 section. There is one item that is assigned or distinguishable from this screenshot...$1917.96. Not very clear what that is. I also don't see the 6% credit you noted but I'm viewing this from my phone so entirely possible that I missed it.
