Thanks for the answer. I'm not sure how it's related to REO investing specifically though :)
I was more looking for guides, websites, books, podcasts, specifically related to Foreclosure investing to gain some basic knowledge about this topic specifically
Thanks

Hi Guys,
Instead of asking for any general advice on REO investing / purchase, I would like to know what are, for you, the best resources to learn about this specific segment of REI? Any online guide / website / book / podcast, etc. that helped you in your journey is more than welcome and would probably help significantly the community !
Thanks !

Thanks @Joshua Cruz . I had a look at the software but it seems to be a bit too much for what I'm trying to do (simple contact management system). But thanks again for the idea!

Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a free contact manager app to manage all my RE contacts (Agents, general contractors, lawyers, property managers, etc) in an efficient manner. I don't like the default app in IOS or Android (not enough functionalities) but other pure CRMs are either way too much (I don't need to handle a business activity, just organize my contacts efficiently). So what I'm looking for:
- An app that can also be accessed through my computer (either via an app or online)
- Can manage contacts easily and add a lot of info (and why not documents too)
- Can create groups
- Will synchronize with my address book on my iphone (or any similar app) and other sources (linkedin, facebook, etc)
What I don't need is a software for team work or team management, lead management etc.. (they usually require a paid membership anyway)
If you have any idea, it will be much appreciated !
Thanks

Cyclicality. When the market is hot, finding great deals becomes harder, margins and rates of return decline. Though time for (conscious) RE investors. On the other hand, when the market is hot, a daily flow of new RE investors enters the sector, all wanting to learn the ins and outs of the game as quickly as possible. Best time for RE teachers (or gurus)
We are in a very hot market right now.

@Amanda G. Thank you for your feedback. I agree with you that you learn best on the spot when discussing with contractors, etc.. And I agree that prices are local and may vary depending on the city etc.
However, my search for info is not intended to replace contact with local contractors, but just have a high level understanding about the field, and how a house is built, etc.. I think having a broad understanding of that would only benefit me when later discussing with contractors, and other third parties
So, I'm still open to any websites, not necessarily REI oriented, that would give me a first look at those things
Thanks again for you answer !
Post: How to invest in constructions?

Hi guys,
Quick question, how is it possible for an individual investor to invest in new constructions? by that, I don't mean buying a recently built house to rent it, but instead investing in the project itself alongside the builder and make a return when the house is done and first sold to someone else?
Are there financial funds, or companies that play the middle man / investing vehicule ? Of even maybe through crowd funding?
Thanks

Hi guys,
I have to admit, I have very limited knowledge about rehabbing, or even DIY housework. I've never been a homeowner before so I never had to do any maintenance, or check houses, or discuss with contractors. Therefore, for someone like me, who's starting from level 0, what are the best websites / sources of info that teach about that subject? If they are REI-oriented, it's even better (better than Lowe's or Home depot websites for eg.)
Subjects that I would like to research are for eg: general knowledge of a house's construction (roof, walls, etc), difference between each types of products, value added of each type, and also how to install them, etc.. Anyway that can help me start the journey!
(please note, I don't intend to do heavy rehab work to flip houses, I'm more interested at understanding and identifying the basics of maintenance work, capex work, home inspection/check)
Thanks!
