Thanks for the welcome! Since I live in St Louis, I'm investing locally for now while I am learning the RE investing game. My first purchase was in Florissant, which is a suburb of St Louis. I would like for my next purchase to be a four family in South City. My goal is to learn as much as possible from BP and purchase a great deal on a four family before the end of this year.

Hello Bigger Pockets Community! My name is Nina and I consider myself a newbie to real estate investing. Im so glad that I stumbled upon this gem of a website.

A little bit about myself. I became interested in investing in real estate around 2005. Around that time, I knew quite a few people who were making ALOT of money through real estate investing. I didn't know how I was going to do it, but I WANTED IN. But there was one little detail that stood in my way. I had terrible credit and couldnt get any financing! That little detail may have saved me from a disaster.

I would have purchased my 1st investment property during the height of the boom at an outrageous interest rate. Since I couldnt secure financing, I worked very hard to increase my FICO score. I saved money. I read books about real estate investing. I purchased my 1st rental property last January. I look forward to purchasing many more :D

I would love to learn from the experience of the members on Bigger Pockets, and love to share my experience as well. I WILL BE FINANCIALLY INDEPENDANT USING RE INVESTMENT AS A VEHICLE!

Thanks for Reading!
