Hello! 
I'm Colton.  Brand new to investing:).  Current occupation is insurance agent in Salt Lake City.  I live in Orem, Utah.  I'm interested in becoming an investor, currently I'm educating myself mostly with bigger pockets help (podcasts and forums).  Ideally I'd like to purchase a properly near Taylorsville, Utah or South Jordan, Utah.  I am lookin for a primary residence, preferably something with a mother in law apartment in the basement that i could use as a rental to help pay the mortgage.  I would also then rent out my current residence, a townhome in Orem, Utah.  I am looking for a mentor, and would appreciate any and all tips, help, advice and encouragement or friends in this exciting new adventure.  hit me up! thanks  :)  CG
