Thank you so much for your input. This strategy is meant to provide a tax advantage. I will investigate further with a CPA to see if the possible tax benefits outweigh the cost of setting up the LLC, yearly state franchise tax in California and cost of yearly tax returns. I was hoping to get input from someone that is already doing it. I can't be the 1st person to think of this strategy.

I am researching the tax advantages of started my own property management company to manage my rentals. My current plan is to create it as a LLC taxed as a S-corp and pay the company a management fee to manage my long term rentals. Is anyone doing anything like this? If so what tax advantages or disadvantages have you seen? I am trying to understand the cost vs benefit. Thank you in advance for your input.

Hi,

I am part of an investment group that owns rental property in the Palmdale and Lancaster areas.  We looking to acquire more but we are looking for Handyman that lives locally in Palmdale and Lancaster to handle all our rental repair needs.  I need a handyman that can work efficiently with owners that are out of the area.  Please message me if you have a recommendation or fit the bill.
