Thanks for the post! How were you able to only put in less than 5% if you went the traditional finance route and rehabbed the property?

Hi Jayson & Chris,

The replies are much appreciated. I am aware that on time payments are beneficial over the long term and like most things it depends on each individual scenario. To be more specific, I just want to know the time it usually takes to recover from the initial prick for the sole purpose of acquiring the best rate possible on the next deal. Or is it common to have a line of credit and relationships with hard money lenders to maintain a score that can earn the best rates available at any given time

I am new to the site and real estate investing. What is the usual impact on your credit score after obtaining a mortgage and how long does it usually take to rebound? For those of you that are acquiring multiple deals a year or month; how do you address this hurdle? Do you obtain a large enough line of credit to avoid multiple hits to your credit?
