I'm here in Portland as well.  I have two multifamily units and I'm planning on holding on. There hasn't been much opportunity to buy cash flowing properties in Portland recently. Maybe we'll see that shift in this next year if rents are frozen. It could spell opportunity. Or we're all screwed and the city will squeeze us with taxes until we leave...

Thanks for your thoughts Wyatt. I know either way the election is going to stir the pot. I'm assuming a strong cash position will be a good place to be this fall.

Hello Everyone,

I'm an intermediate level investor. Actually I feel like a beginner but I have two rent and hold units with a total of 9 doors. I've been looking to add a few more solid multiplex or industrial/ warehouse type properties to my portfolio.

Just about all the advice I've been getting is' "WAIT, WAIT, WAIT!!!"  Wait to see what shakes out during the fall; Covid-19 numbers possibly going up, evictions, election results.

I'm wondering how others are feeling with so much uncertainty?

Also in the Portland Oregon region it's hard to find things that cash flow positively. Investors are often willing to take a loss on the cash flow for great appreciation, but I would prefer cash flow.

What do you guys think?

Hello Everyone,

I am looking for a bank or a banker specifically that can finance single family home purchases.  Preferrable a bank that has the capacity to bundle loans into portfolio loans. Which banks do you guys in Kansas City like the most?

Thanks

Hi All,

I found a nice opportunity that is a few more units then I anticipated and I need to switch from a residential loan (already pre-approved) and underwritten to a commercial loan. I'm not too concerned but I'd like to hear who you guys like for commercial leaning!

Thanks so much!

Hi,

I'm a health care professional in Oregon with developing real estate skills. I have two multifamily apartments and one commercial building. These are all long term holds for me. I'm looking into developing a few more long term holds, providing good housing to the Columbus community and building some financial security along the way.

I look forward to developing a strong team in central Ohio where we can all profit together!

Thanks

Hi, I'm an out of state investor with 2 multifamily units looking to purchase single family homes in Columbus. I have  great property management in Oregon and know how crucial it is to success.  Who do you guys love for property management in Columbus?
