Anybody have any experience or heard anything about the Distressed Real Estate Institute based in Boca Raton, Florida? I'm looking for some help to get into the real estate business, by beginning with wholesaling, but I would like to learn more about it. Any thoughts on this or another program/school that would be good?

Hello, I'm new to this website & real estate. My name is Oscar & I live in the Florida Treasure coast. Currently, I operate in a family grocery store that belongs to my father. We are looking to get into the real estate business, as we want to try something different, something that gives my family more financial freedom & time to spend with each other, as the retail business consumes our lives. Originally we wanted to get into fix & flip, but that takes capital to start. I came across wholesaling as a way to get into the real estate business with no money. As of a couple weeks ago, I've been looking for programs or mentors with no luck, too many MLM schemes that I'm too suspicious about. I'm really eager to learn, I've been doing a lot of research on my own, but that only gets me so far, As i'm more of a hands on person, that likes to know how things work. I came across this website with google searches as one of the most reliable websites with honest people & resources. I hope to learn as much as I can from eveyone here, build relationships with people, investors and anyone in general. Everyone is here for different reasons but the same hope/outcome, to become a better & successful person! Any advice would be greatly appreciated
