it is a public information, once paper work is done, takes 40-45 days and anybody can find out how much you actually paid. Assessment has nothing to do with what you paid anyway.

You father can sell the house for a dollar in that sense does not mean they will look at that number to decide the value of it.

Quote from @Haim Assaraf:

Hi guys,

I manage a multi-family building in Baltimore, Md. There's a 500 sqft commercial space with a bathroom in the front of the building that doesn't really payoff to rent out due to the costs associated with it. What kind of tenant amenities can i implement there to attract a better crowd of renters?

What part of baltimore are you, just curious???

Thank you in advance

I am also a recent rent redi user, I dont hate it, but at BPCON24 , i met with hemline and their software looked really good to me.

I set up a call with them this week so use their demo, and their AI for the maintenance was very helpful.

I don't mind rent redi though, I met many people at the conference, stessa was a one pf the populer ones.

Go check different renovations around,or check the permits of the recent flips etc... or go home depot in the morning and check who comes there at 6, anf get their info.

Pro desk should have plenty of them.

I would suggest to check with your local laws first.

Most likely you will need permit ( I guess you can get away without, obviously not suggesting that :D)) but possible) , also check your zoning.

If not possible to create separate unit legally, I suggest not putting an oven in the basement, and rent it without, or live in it yourself

I dont know how many units you are talking about, my biggest problem was tenants having easy access to me.

I finally decided to use a software and got an internal property manager so moved away from it.

Currently setting up the maintenance request portion of it, so will see how it goes.
