If you haven't already, I'd HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest you join the SLCREIA and go to their monthly meetings.  You will find all the networking, mentorship, and experience you will ever need in the SLC area.  Realtors, brokers, investors, hard money lenders, wholesalers, flippers, BRRRRers, and many other experienced investors attend monthly.  First meeting is free FYI. Good luck to you in your endeavors.

Hey Jordan,  I'm a newbie as well and have been doing my due diligence preparing to get the first property.  I suggest you visit the SLCREIA meetings they have once a month to meet others who share your passion.  It's quite informative and the first meeting is free.  You will meet landlords, lawyers, brokers, lenders, etc. and you could make some great connections there.
