@Emily Braa Thanks for the redweek link. I’ll check that out.Since it is a point system I will have to confirm how that transfers to unit size or usage weeks since that could vary. I was also thinking using the in-house Wyndham option might not work in my favor competitive-wise but couldn’t hurt to ask.

We purchased a deeded Wyndham ownership 10 years ago which we are now interested in selling . What is the best way to access its current value and go about selling it? Are there any reputable companies anyone can recommend? The Property is located in Hawaii. Thank you in advance.

@Basit Siddiqi Not sure about living it the property forever but the seller financing sound interesting. We might consider this.

My wife and I are preparing for retirement in the near future, 1 - 3 years and looking for references for a Financial Advisor to provide a great exit strategy. Any recommendations in the Monterey, CA area?

Thank you for the insight to our tax consequences. The rental property with the capital gains was purchased 11 years ago using a 1031 exchange. Let me digest this information and get back to you.

I currently have a rental property with substantial assets gains.  Since I will hopefully be retiring within 2-3 years, how can I avoid potential tax consequences?  Can I opt to make it a primary residence?
