Thanks for the input @James Mc Ree  I scheduled a meeting with a banker at a local credit union to introduce myself and discuss some options.

I have bought two houses the "traditional way" and it was painful to say the least.  I can only imagine the hoops they will force me to jump through with multiple investment properties.

I appreciate the warm welcome and advice!

Hi Everyone,

First off, THANK YOU!  This community is full of smart, experienced people and the education I have gotten from reading on here is insane.

I am a married father with three kids looking to diversify my investment portfolio with real estate.  I am the founder of an adtech company and love learning about the intricate nature of real estate.

My strategy is buy and hold rental properties within 1 -2 hours from NYC.  I plan to use some of the leading bridge loan companies (POL, LendingHome, etc) to finance my purchases and then refinance to traditional mortgages.

Thanks in advance for letting me participate in the community, I hope I can add to the discussions.

Regards,

PDR
