As an investor do insure a property for what you or what you purchase for. I've noticed  in a policy  this makes the biggest  difference in pricing.

I'm trying to find where this is documented. My issue  is I have paid 25% down for owner occupied  and 30% for investment  properties  for years and all loans are through a major national  bank.

I hear all the time people say 20% down on four-plex as a investor. I have never found any bank that will do less than 30%. Please help.
