I'm yet to try meditation, but I do try to follow the rule of doing some sort of cardio exercise at least four times a week. Aside from the wellness aspect, I find those 30-45 minutes-long sessions to be helpfully introspective and stress-shedding too. So, I'd say everyone should make a habit of working out from to time, I don't see how it wouldn't benefit them regardless of profession

I doubt he can "force" you to pay for something. especially when it's possible for him to change all parts of the fence but the part that "merges" with your property. Still, taking that route might get you on bad terms with a person you'll potentially see a lot of in the future, though you know best to which level the awkwardness could rise if you keep on refusing his plea...
