I like LVT more than laminate or hardwood because it's more moisture resistant. Usually they are hard to scratch unless done deliberately. If it's really bad you might have to replace the flooring. One thing that will make it easier is to float the floor instead of glueing it down. Is there any particular reason why you glue it down?

Hello Jay. I don't mind a lower short term ROI with a house hacked multi family. I have found a few properties that I will start to look into in a few weeks or so. Using the calculators here on BP, they can run anywhere from $100-600 a month in positive cash flow. Currently, I am selling a condo to get out of an HOA.

I am looking into buying a multifamily on the MLS. The majority of what I have seen are already occupied by tenants. If I want to live in the property immediately after I buy, what is the best way to do this?
