I've been reading the COVID-19 eviction moratorium for the city where my rental is. Bullet #1 states that the tenant needs to inform me by April 30th (assuming they don't plan to pay rent this month). What happens if they don't inform me? Does that mean the moratorium doesn't apply to them?

BTW, these tenants have been great so I don't plan to evict them. However, I'd like to understand what the consequence is for them. They usually pay the rent 2 days before its due, but they haven't done so for April yet...

NOTE: THIS MORATORIUM ONLY APPLIES TO EVICTIONS FOR NON-PAYMENT OF RENT DUE TO FINANCIAL IMPACT/HARDSHIP RELATED TO COVID-19 DURING THE LOCAL EMERGENCY
What Affected Residential Tenants Must Do
1. Notify landlords in writing within 30 days of the rental due date of inability to pay rent.

a. Notification can be by email or text if you have communicated previously with landlord
through text or email.

Hi

I'm looking into buying a turnkey property in FL, and the property management company forwarded their standard contract and T&C. Are there any general things to watch out for or outside services that specialize in reviewing these type of documents?

Thanks!

ah, no wonder I wasn't able to find anything on google 😀

Will you be there personally teaching, or will it be mainly other people who work with you?

Hi Guys,

Newbie here trying to learn more about the RE world. I heard a blogger interview Jason Hartman in a podcast the other day, and it got me thinking about the potential of investing in lower cost states (I live in Southern California).

Does anyone have experience attending Jason Hartman University events? Wondering if its worth it as a general overview of investing in RE. I assume many of the BP free resources would cover some of the same topics, but a "classroom" type of environment might be more effective in picking up all the concepts.
