Your name sounds awful familiar. I represent several custom builders in the Richmond area so we may have crossed paths.

Anyway, welcome to the site and dig in! Plenty of great info here and tons of Richmond investors to network with.

 Thanks Jon.

Likewise your name sounds familiar.  Looking forward to connecting with other RVAers.

Thanks.  House is in the west end.  Bought really well and put smart improvements in over the years.

Hi,

My name is Phillip Glaeser - an aspiring investor from Richmond Virginia.

I work in marketing for a regional home builder and have had my license since 2008 (though I use it mainly for research and only do a handful of annual transactions).  I am looking to buy and hold properties in the Richmond area.  I have a few family members seeking real estate exposure through partnerships and I hope to leverage their cash to get my investment career started.

I'm in the process of selling my first home, which could be called a renovate and hold (for 5 years), for a nice profit.  Hope to repeat the process on our second home.

I hope I can share my real estate marketing expertise with the forums.

Have really enjoyed the podcast and looking forward to knowledge and networking from BP (especially with local investors).
