I find owner finance buyers for some of our houses, and get paid 1000 to 1500. Qualifying the buyers is critical per dodd frank, need documented income, down payment, job. Plus, you don't want to get the house back in two months and have to foreclose.

Hi Henry, I have been told by many that the south side is much better than ten years ago. Around the missions it's all pretty good now; we have bike rides along the mission road, it's safe in day time anyway. Lots of restoration and money pouring in.

I invest in distressed houses on the south and west sides. We are a small part of the revitalization of the Hispanic areas of town. We do owner finance so working class folks without credit can buy houses. It works well - in San Antonio. I can't speak for other markets.

I moved here two and half years ago, love TX!

I use Craig's List and Linkedin and get many cash buyers off both platforms. I have put a lot of blog content on our site and also several case studies that I think help a lot.

I invest in Kansas City, currently the 64134 zip code with a company I located here on BP :). Solid market, good return and inexpensive. Good luck.

Hi, welcome to BP :) I invest in Kansas City in 64134 zip code among others with a turnkey guy I found here on BP. I am getting 11-12% ROI so far. Good city to invest in. You'll get tons of info on here regarding your start in REI!

the way I have gotten a new start in REI is to leverage my (decent) writing ability to help my partner find new investors online. I do a lot of work on various sites, put up a decent website, created a lot of marketing materials.

I help him find investors, and I take that cash to buy some pretty good REI deals.

I am not familiar with pat flynn though....
