@Hadi Alajmi I am a Maryland real estate attorney and I form and register business entity's such as LLC's all the time and I also offer registered agent services. An LLC may not be the best entity depending on your situation. I recommend consulting with a Real Estate CPA such as @Brandon Hall about tax issues, and consulting with a real estate attorney such as myself regarding liability before deciding on an entity.

I've helped form business entities in DC. There is no "best way" to do it. The best entity for you is the one that is specific to your situation. 

I recommend speaking with a real estate CPA about the tax implications and for recommendations on entities. Then working with a real estate business attorney to make sure the paperwork and filings are done correctly based on those recommendations.

I say charge the maximum amount legally possible that you are allowed in your jurisdiction to maximize protecting your business. 

The max amount differs from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. 

Find out what's the most you can charge in your jurisdiction from a local l&t attorney and consider using that. Also make sure you comply with your local security deposit rules otherwise you could forfeit your security deposit and end up owing your tenant attorneys fees.

Hello Bigger Pocketers!

I am a real estate business law and closing attorney licensed to practice law in DC & MD.  My interest in helping real estate businesses started by helping landlords evict bad tenants.  I now help real estate business owners such as investors and title companies with their legal and business needs.

I am interested in learning more about investing because I believe that understanding the business side will make me a better attorney.  I also love the idea of making passive income.  My main income source right now is Professional services, and it's difficult to scale.  I think investing may be better!  I can also save a lot of money on attorneys fees by evicting bad tenants myself.  >:)
