@Gordon Cuffe my goal is to purchase a property before I graduate from college. but the sooner the better. I guess one of my goals would be to pay off college with real estate.

Hello BP!

I'm currently new to BP and real estate; i am walking in with no knowledge. But I was hoping to grow my band of connections via BiggerPockets or other online websites and eventually gain a mentor out of it.

If anyone would like to help out or point the finger in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it!

@Chris Mason you have officially provided with more motivation to pursue sales and real estate more than anyone else by far, thank you. But again, having no knowledge of really estate, including vocabulary, I have no idea what REI is.

@Keith Torsen looks like we're on the same page and I'm glad to know there's someone in a similar situation!

@Michael Herrera well, my goals as a novice real estate investor was to get the tools and knowledge I need to begin investing in rental properties. But there's so much i don't know so I wanted to grab the basics!

@Angie Swader I bet! Real estate is something that definitely takes a lot of time to learn, but I have a feeling once I learn all the material to begin investing, it will just get easier down the road!

Hello all! I hope you all welcome me into the BP community! 

My name is Quang Tran and I made the decision to join BP while reading The Book on Rental Property Investing. 

I am a student originally from the Bay Area. I moved up to Sacramento for college and I am currently attending California State University of Sacramento majoring in communications. I have wishes to work in sales, but that does not mean that I wont try to invest in real estate as well! 

Knowing absolutely nothing, my goal as a novice investor is to gain knowledge on how to properly invest (everything I need to know to get started) and grow a network of connections. Please feel free to shoot me some advice or guide me to different sources of education, I would love all the help I could get!

Hey everyone from the bigger pockets community! My name is Quang Tran from Sacramento California and I am completely inexperienced in real estate investing. I attend Sacramento State university and I am majoring in communications. My goals as a novice investor is to expand my network in hopes of expanding more real estate knowledge.
