Hi everyone! I'm a rookie investor planning to buy my first BRRRR property in Columbus, Ohio this year. As much as I'd love to invest in my backyard, I live in the SF Bay Area so investing out-of-state is a must. I would love to network with other investors (both local and out-of-state) so we can learn and grow together. I'd also love referrals for rockstar agents, lenders, PMs and GCs who can be part of my team.

A little about me: I'm a wife and mom to a 2-year old little girl and I work a full-time W2 job. All my friends work W2 jobs and don't have an interest in real estate so I'm really looking forward to meeting like-minded people here on BP.

So if you're interested in connecting and talking about investing in Columbus, please let me know! Looking forward to chatting.

Hi @Chelsie Runnings, I'm also looking into purchasing an STR in the Sonoma County area. Would love to chat with you and get insight into the market. Please feel free to message me. Thanks!

Hi @Becky Brown I'm looking into the Sonoma County area to purchase an STR. I'd be interested in learning more about your property management company. Still debating whether I want to have someone act as an on-call manager only (meaning I fully manage the listing, bookings, cleanings, etc) just to comply with county regulations or if I want more of a full-service property manager. Please feel free to message me. Thanks!

that is a good plan.  even if it's a couple hours away, there is just no substitute for being hands-on / in person.

Thanks! Glad to hear that you think so.

Hi Nash,

I'm also in the Bay Area and interested in doing BRRRR out of state. I'm considering starting with my first BRRRR in a less expensive area in CA though just to be a bit more hands on and learn as much as I can about the process with less strict requirements about cash flow. Then the goal would be to take all that knowledge and invest out of state where the cash flow would (hopefully) be better. Would love to connect and share ideas!

Best,

Rachel

Hi Brian,

I'm new as well and in the Bay Area. Also interested in the BRRRR model and looking at either less expensive areas in CA or out of state. Would love to connect and share ideas!

Best,

Rachel
