Real Estate is expensive out here. I was first thinking Houston, TX, starting out with something around 40K to 50K but then started reading about N.D. I don't think it is possible to get anyting in the Los Angeles area for under 100K with decent returns, and that is not in a war zone. That is why I am looking elsewhere. Any adive is welcome.

Has anyone invested in North Dakota?
Single family vs. Mobile home with land (not in park)?
I was reading about "American Full House". They are buiding Executive Hotel Studios, about a 50K investment with profits being split 50/50 between comany and investor. Has anyone heard of this? Good or bad idea? I'm looking to make my first investment.

What is the buzz around there (N.D.) these days? Still a lot of workers and not enough housing? Since you are living it, do you feel the Williston & Watford area will be doing well economically in the next 10 to 20 years?
