I have a rental property that I purchased 2 years ago when interest rates were at 3%. I have some good equity that would love to take out and buy another property, but how do you refi with todays interest rates so high? Thank you!

@Evan P.

Hi, I'm interested in properties like this one. Can you email me your available properties? I'm working with several investors in the area, and always looking for new ones. Thanks.

Hi @Pratish Halady and welcome! BP is the place to be if you're just starting out. I'm an investor myself in the San Francisco/Bay Area. If you have any questions I am happy to help. I know how overwhelming it can be in the beginning.

Best of luck!

Raluca

I am looking for a good referral to a Realtor in East Bay/San Francisco area to help with my first investment property deal. I prefer one that specializes in duplexes and works solely with investors.

Thanks much!

Abi,

Thank you! That's very useful. I will look into both these groups and will attend at least the San Francisco one for now. Hope to see you there one of these days! Thanks again.

Hi All!

New member here from the Bay Area.  I am looking to start a real estate investment business on the side. For right now I've been focusing on absorbing as much knowledge as possible and trying to get a sense of the local market. I am also studying for the RE Exam. My short term goal is to deal on either a flip or rental within the next 12 months and gain some hands on experience.

BP is a tremendous resource for someone like me looking to get up to speed, so a big thank you to the BP community for what's been created here!

I've done a lot of reading here on BP, but anything else I should check out specifically?

Also, any recommendations for an REIC in the East Bay area?

Thanks Everyone!
