Hi Nick,

I'm also from the Portland area, Beaverton, and I found a great investment group that I joined almost a year ago and they're an extremely knowledgeable group of fellow investors. It's the Northwest Real Estate Investors Association, http://www.northwestreia.com/, and they hold about 6 or so meetings a month, all on different topics and in various locations, from Vancouver all the way down to Eugene.

If you're just getting started, then you may want to attend a meeting or two to see if it's a good fit for you.

Regards,

Randy Johnston

I'm a new real estate broker in the state of Oregon. I have been involved in investing for several years now, mostly as a private money lender and my wife and I own three rental properties.

I found BiggerPockets while doing a search for information on multi-family properties.

I'm interested in learning more about multi-family properties, from 2-4 units to larger commercial apartment complexes.
