Hello Everyone,
My name is Raymond Beecham and I am somewhat new to real estate investing, but I do own one rental property that I am currently renting out. I have taken a few classes here and there on real state and am currently in Austin, Texas, but originally from Killeen. My day job is working in laboratory while going to school at Texas State University. I wanted to get involved with real estate to have the freedom to spend more time with my wife and family also be able to do more on campus and focus more on classes and build a retirement portfolio of real estate. I am focused on the buy and hold method as it has produced the most cash flow for me. I joined Biggerpockets after listening to Brandons weekly webinars however I had already thought about joining after watching on youtube and listening to the podcasts. I am currently reading "The book on Rental Property Investing." Every resource here has been very useful and I can't wait to learn more and make more friends. See everyone out there!

My goal initially is to start collecting houses to obtain cash flow and equity. I am wanting to use the BRRR method that Brandon talks about later on as I collect more houses. I am all new but am willing to learn and ready to start. I would like to work together as I think it would mutually benefit us both in the long run, and by that I mean I would like to be added to the portal along with automatic alerts so that we can start analyzing properties. Thank you.
What do people think of strongbrook. I have seen posts about them in these forums, but do you think they are a good idea for a new investor? I don't know what mlm or turnkey properties mean.

Hello,
I was wondering how you buy real estate property and make good decisions in areas where the market is so expensive?
