@Dinesh Kumar Sarupuri, I have worked with Branch and Olive in the past on some intense whole home renovations. I know they do design + build, but also some smaller handyman projects if needed. I don't know if they would go as far south as Salem, but doesn't hurt to reach out and ask. Best of luck with the project!

Awesome analysis of the Portland Oregon real estate market @Keegan Schaub! I am hopeful that 2025 will be a good year for real estate in the PNW.

I remember hosting a few real estate meet-ups when I first joined the Bigger Pockets community back in 2015-2016. There was always a decent turn out and it was a good time networking with the real estate community here in Portland.
I know there are more structured and frequent events throughout Portland now when it comes to real estate, but was curious if there might be any interest out there in the BP community for a casual real estate networking event sometime in late spring?
No pitching, no ticket price, just good people and good conversations. Comment below if you might be interested in attending something like that.

@Peter Taylor, I have worked with several wholesaling outfits in the Portland Oregon area. Discount Property Wholesalers, Real Property Network, and Coast 2 Coast House Buyers just to name a few.
They can be a reliable source for off-market deals here in the Portland Oregon market.

@James Anderson, Realtors can potentially have off market deals to share. It is more likely if they are also investors or have investor clients. I would do some online research into Realtors in your area to see if you can make a connection.
As @Michael Dumler pointed out, wholesalers are going to be a more reliable source for consistent off-market properties with margin. I would recommend looking into local real estate meet-ups and networking with investors to get yourself on wholesalers email lists when they send out their deals.
Hope this helps!

@Ryan Janssen it sounds like you are looking for more private money investors. I have done something similar in the past and it has proven fruitful for everyone. Keep up the hustle and best of luck!

@Tyrus Lacey Jr I would recommend finding someone local who is doing what you are interested in doing and see if you can assist them with their business while you learn the business from them. You don't have to reinvent the wheel and you get hands-on experience with someone in your market that has tangible results. Most importantly, don't give up and any progress is progress.
You already have a platform, BiggerPockets, to allow you to connect with other like-minded individuals in your area. Start talking to people and show them that you can provide value with your hustle. Best of luck!
