@Steven Foster Wilson I am definitely leaning towards joining a team exactly for these reasons. I am glad you were able to find that for yourself, thank you!

Hello BP!
I am a long time lurker and first time poster. I'm in the process of getting my license here in Illinois (specifically, Chicago) and my main goal once I am licensed is to work with investors. I have not signed with a brokerage yet. My purpose for posting is to get any advice, from agents who work with investors, about where I should go from here. I have learned much about starting as a residential broker, but am wondering how it differs when you want to work with investors.
What do you recommend I look for in a brokerage? Should I look to join a team if possible? If you were starting over, what do you wish you knew?
I greatly appreciate any wisdom you can send my way! Thank you!
