Folks! Any BP Investor Meetups going in Austin to discuss local REI hot topics and exchange ideas?

Not sure about others, but I would love to meet local investors and explore possible JV's and/or investment opportunities...How many are interested if we put together a meetup on Sep 25th@7pm?

Reply to this thread so we know the headcount and can figure out a central location...

Thanks,

Ravi.

Post: Best/Safest, but Fastest way to double your 1031 exchange Cash in Real Estate!

Let's say you have few hundred thousands from your 1031 exchange...Is it better to go "multi-family unit buy/hold/upgrade to bigger when you can" route OR are there any better strategies out there?

I know there are lots of investment experts on this forum and wanted to hear from you on what your experiences and best way to leverage you CASH position!!

My current thought process is buy a multi-family unit (let's say 8 to 10 units at right price) with full cash and then take a cash out (REFI or any thing better???) and go buy another multi-family apartment complex...keep doing this until you have no way to leverage your money and/or properties that you owned! Any thing wrong with this approach? Any other better ways? Please share your thoughts, experiences, ideas so I could learn to avoid typical new investor mistakes.

Thanks in advance! Ravi.
