I highly encourage you to look into local Investor groups as they can provide extreme value for the small membership cost. There are TRIG, PREIA, and Hopportunity as well as some smaller ones.

@Jacob Sloop, I've got you on the Hampton Roads Property Management and if you put together a syndication, I'd possibly be interested in a Co-GC or LP position.

 No, both of those cities are more open and have links on the city pages regarding the process and limitations.

Nathan, we're in Virginia Beach, VA. Our REI, TRIG, is the largest and oldest in the area and none of the other smaller ones have done anything with syndication.

 In person. Usually between 7-9pm on 3rd Tuesday. Also open to that plus a Saturday for the right program (if a program).

Hey all. I'm on the board for our local REI and I've been on the hunt for a guest speaker to come talk about syndications. There's so much gimmick and chest flexing that I'm getting tired of wasting time listening/reading overinflated egos with little knowledge and expensive/outdated material. I know it's a reach to get someone who's actively producing results to have their **** together to come teach/speak, but who's your go to? TIA - Jason
