The only thing that I can add to the great advice above would be to consider a casement window. It is nice to be able to crank it open when desired.

I personally would want to see the property before making an offer. As I gain experience, maybe I would think differently. I have seen properties that looked good in pictures that looked terrible in person.

Sure looks like a nice home. I noticed when I went to the Trulia page that the address was not listed. Any reason for that? If that is actually the case, then no one would want to see it if they don't know where it is!

EDIT: I found the Zillow listing before you purchased the home. You did a very nice job on the rehab. How much did you have to put into it?

Why? I agree to finance as much as you can. Buy that cheaper home, but keep as much of your cash as you can.
