Hello – I have been a member of Bigger Pockets for a year and a half and now that I’m back from working overseas, I wanted to reach out to everyone and let them know that we are located in Townsend, MA.We are now ready to start our property investing business.I have read most of the BP blogs, listened to most of the podcast and read several of the books recommended on BP. I still have a lot to learn, but my wife and I are now retired from our former jobs and are looking to get started.

I have been in the construction business in one way or another for over 40 years.I have worked several jobs in construction, from framing to sheetrock finishing. I then joined the Air Force where I became an electrician.After 20 years, I retired from the AF and then became a Facilities Engineer for a Government contractor and supervised 14 electricians.

We are looking for a mentor who has been in the business and is willing to help someone with loads of desire, time and money to get their business up and running. We will be working to put together a team around us that can help us with the tasks that we cannot perform to ensure we become a leading property investor in our area.

I agree that it's a nice touch at not much expense but I don't want my PM doing it and then telling me it's the law if it's not. It's been a bad turn over this time, a lot of expense.

Has anyone heard of a MA law that requires the toilets seats to be changed every time a tenant changes. If not I may need a new PM.

Hello All, I'm Rick Gritt and I'm a newbie from Townsend MA. I'm retired AF and have been in Facility Maintenance for over 30 years. I hope to be able to get into property investing very soon. Can't wait to meet other BP family from the Townsend area very soon.
