Hi, my husband and I are finishing a big duplex renovation project. We are planning to rent one of the apartments as MTR. The unit is located in South Jersey, 15 min outside of Philadelphia in a nice, vibrant neighborhood, close to amenities and public transportation. What is the best place to find tenants for MTR? I created an account and listing on Furnished Finder but not getting many leads. As the unit is still being renovated, we didn't take pictures yet, but I am trying to be proactive and start looking for renters sooner rather than later.  What other planforms have you had luck with to find traveling professionals?

 Hi Weronika,

My Fiance and I currently have a MTR and found a lot of success with corporate leasing companies. FF is a great tool, but you can also look up local corporate leasing companies, as well as, insurance companies/agents to work with for individuals who are going through home insurance claims.

Goodluck!

BP Community,

Hoping to get some feedback from folks who have used Invelo to find off market deals. As we all know, we need a deal to secure funding and being a bigger pockets pro member the Invelo platform sounds like a great resource.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

I do not want to sound negative but I am not super keen on courses and gurus.  As mentioned above all the information you could ever want is here and there is a wealth of experience you can tap into on these forums.

I would also mention I am quite bearish on arbitrage in 2024.  It worked for me in the past getting started 2016-2018 but I have not seen any deals (at least in FL) I would take the risk in terms of money and time.

Best of luck!

Andrew, appreciate the feedback. Sounds like there is a general consensus among the comments. This just reaffirms the power of the BP community.

Thanks again!

Every thing you need to know is on this forum.  Any questions you may have have been asked and answered a 100 times.

Don't spend money on info that is readily available to you.

Just my 2 cents.

Thanks John! Definitely makes me feel more confident in the BP community hearing this!

Hey Bigger Pockets Family,

We recently had an introduction call with Brian Page's AirBnB arbitrage course and wanted to get some feedback from the BP community. My Fiance and I are very familiar with the arbitrage model, however the main benefit of the course would be to scale faster than we could alone.

By no means do we believe this to be the "magic solution" or believe anyone selling a course will turn us into an overnight success.

Has anyone gone through this course, or know anyone that has, and can provide any feedback? We appreciate any insight.

Thank you all!

-Ricky

Hi Stacy,

Ricky from Las Vegas here! Thank you for your insightful post! My Fiance and I are educating ourselves on flips, as we've heard some horror stories from inexperienced flippers.

I have connected with some lenders, but the terms you've listed out are the best I have seen yet. Also, i noticed NV is listed as a state with more lending options.

Curious to know what other options are common in my state?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hey BP Fam-

What is the best hard money lender for someone who is new looking to fix/flip?
