Post: THE COMPETITION IN REAL ESTATE

My name is Rico and I am fairly new to REI and love the BP family. This site is great and has a lot of great information that gives newbies like a the necessary confidence needed in moving forward and pulling the trigger to become a true investor.

I would love to pick your brains and see what you guys have to say, but it seems like a lot of people are investing in RE. Everywhere you turn someone  is looking to buy or sell an investment property.

My question is about the competition. Being that a lot of people are involved is that an issue and how does it affect newbie investors?

Thank you in advance and I appreciate your thoughts and advice.

Best regards,

Rico

Can this be done with living tenants or does the property need to be vacant?

I agree with Nathan.

It will def save you time and money in the long run because you are able to have a quick turnaround speeding up the time frame for the new tenants

Awesome Mike, Good luck and welcome to the BP family!

@Mike Zachary

Its so awesome to read such great information from great people.

I just want to say thank you for the information. As a newbie to RE it really gives me confidence.

Is it even possible or worth it to get a PM for small MF apartments?

Thank you all,

Rico

Im am with you. You are def ahead of me by setting those meetings but I too am trying to break in. Why do you want to start at 5 plus units? have you done any flips before?

I am just asking and still trying to learn. I believe that we can still learn from anyone no matter the level of experience.

It seems like you are in a position to close on a deal. What are you criterias? Have you considered a house hack?

I know its random but I love to learn and discuss RE.

Thank you,

Rico
