Post: Creating a Remote Investment Fix and Flip Team

I am asked almost every day "How can I assemble a team to handle my remote investment?"  I can handle the contractor side and know good wholesalers to find properties, even lenders.  I would like to gain better insight as to what other types of people and services investors need when they talk about that team.  I would also like to hear suggestions on how one vets those other parties.  What does that real DREAM TEAM look like?  I focus on Indianapolis, Cincinnati, & Charlotte, NC, but I have to believe the same fundamentals should be in place anywhere.

Indianapolis has been good to my business.  If you are out of state or even for foreign investors, you just want to make sure you have a local team in place or at a minimum good contacts in that city.  I know people in Indianapolis, Charlotte NC, and Cincinnati if you are looking to begin building a team.  If I can help make some connections - PM me.

If you can find a  project management company that already has a group of their own contractors - this can be a good way to go.  Just make sure that they do background checks and credit checks on those contractors and you want them to be insured, etc.

Jo Lynn,

If you have need for local contractors or top-notch wholesalers - PM me?

I have some good people I can connect you to.

I do a lot of  project management for remote investors and I'd be happy to meet with you.

Thanks,

You might try Aloha Capital or even BridgeWell Capital.  If you are ever looking for new properties.  I know great wholesalers and contractors in Indy as well.

I can't give you any information on Baltimore.  I could give you information on cities like Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Charlotte, NC if you decide to invest in some of those markets.  There is a good system available out there.  Right now its just only available in a few areas.  PM me if you would like to know more.

I don't know about the options.  I could pass along a few good hard money lenders.

I think in any of these markets - what you need first is a wholesaler with inventory that understands what you need, as well as, a wholesaler that wants to do more business with you in the future.

I know some good ones in Indianapolis, also have a few in Cincinnati area.

Some of these markets are good markets, but it can be street by street and block by block that makes the difference for you.
