Thanks for the info! Of the places I’ve seen, 1 is owned by a trust from the 60s and the another is owned by 3 people. The trust owes 3 years at $1500/year and the other owes 3 years at $5000/year. The second one has 0.2 acres worth $155,000.

I am noticing quite a few homes that are 2-3 years past due on their property taxes and none of them are mortgaged. They are up for a tax deed auction because they have 2-4 years of tax liens and some are rented out too. Why wouldn’t the invester(s) pay their property taxes?

Are they on reservations? Are Native American properties taxed? Could be why.
