Just curious what/if anyone would do anything differently if they were to build a multifamily apartment, potentially one that they already owned.

For example, I would have added an interior door for my attached garage, and built with a basement instead of on a slab

@Ashraf Abbas I am new to investing myself and I am currently owner occupying a duplex. I am a real estate agent in the fox cities and there are 4 plexs that do go on the market but go very quick! My biggest suggestion is finding a lender and locking down financing right away so you are ready when something does come on the market. Let me know if I can help or if you are looking for a lender or agent.

thanks for the reply! I am owner occupying one side while I fix it up. Hopefully I will cashout refinance and buy another investment property down the road
