I actually thought about getting a mentor and also joining a REI club.

Hey guys I am so glad I found this forum/site. This is what I have been looking for. I am new to REI but I have spent the last 2 months or so just reading. Right now I am in the military overseas but later this year I will be moving stateside and I want to hit the ground running. I bought the simple mans guide to real estate. They include free mentoring and I also plan on looking into the naked investor. My goal is to eventually get a bunch of rentals but my wife does not want me to spend any of our savings so I plan on starting in L/Os

So how are hard are L/O deals to find? Are there any other methods I should focus on? Thx guys!
