I'm also a newbie who lives in the Long Beach area of LA.  I've been marketing, marketing and marketing.  I'm trying all sorts of things to see what is going to work best in my market.  Have you attended any local real estate investor meetups or meetings?  Those are always great for networking and ideas.

Hi everyone! I'm just getting started with my marketing campaign to look for prospects and my first check. I've been lurking here for a little while and enjoy BP podcasts (very informative and inspiring). I would enjoy getting to know other investors that are local to the area. I've been to REIC-LA this past month. I used to attend there a long time ago, but the timing was not right for me when I was initially trying to start out. I had young children at the time.
