Hi all, I am looking for stories and motivation on how you become financially independent through scaling your real estate business. I personally own a few rentals, some short and long term. I am still working a 9-5 and am having difficulty scaling my real estate portfolio

Thank you

@Matthew Crivelli

Thanks for the response Matthew, over the last couple months since i posted this I have started a W2 job. Same industry that i was in previously. With the intention of getting a conventional loan on a multifamily property and moving into one of the units.

I have reached out to some lenders and they are having issues with using income from my STR. Has anyone had any luck with getting around this.

Thank you

@Matthew Crivelli Thanks for the advise! I am looking into DSCR loans, is it possible to use HELOC as a down payment?

Hi all,

I have been investing in real estate for the last few years ago and have acquired a few properties in the northwest using the brrrr method. I have recently left my w2 paying job purchased a small multi family unit and moved across the states to a new market. I have a few short term and long term rentals. I am looking to purchase another small multi family property shortly, but have some questions about loan options for people without a w2 income. Any input would be helpful

Thanks

Hello @Jacob Whitbeck! I’ve been investing in the south Seattle area for the past couple years and would enjoy meeting other local investors 👍
