So, if you go to the website, click on the "Debit card policy" and read it, it'll tell you that Dave doesn't accept credit cards. "Never have, never will". Again, I'm just saying.

@Account Closed
I want to thank yall for continuing the conversation while I was away. My ship had to get underway for a few days. And while I was in the middle of the ocean, doing countless circles, my mind was always focused on my BP family.
You have given me some great insight into the Everett area. I am excited to explore all that Everett has to offer. I should be there around the 15th of June. Once I get the family settled in, my focus will be on getting my real estate deals up and going.
Karyn, it's crazy that we have been to the same areas. We probably know the same people. I'll be taking my leave in Houston before reporting to Everett. Can't wait to get to Houston. "There's no place like home."
Grant, you read my mind. I am absolutely looking for a duplex, triplex or quadplex. I have been talking about that for some time. The thought of having my tenant pay the mortgage for me and collecting my BAH (housing allowance) in the bank is a beautiful thing.
Thanks for the info!!! Go Navy!!!

@Bryant Butler My first property was in Houston. I was stationed in Japan getting ready for a deployment. So the wife, 3 months pregnant, went home to Houston and bought the house. After deployment and the birth of the baby, she came back to Japan. There is no military base near that house. Once we left Japan, we came to Virginia we bought another. This house is centrally located between two bases. For the Virginia property, which has been on the rental market for 2 days, I am absolutely looking at military tenants. I am using a property manager and made my intentions known. I'm not opposed to civilian renters, but would prefer military. Plus if a military tenant is late or defaults, I can call his command if need be.

Greetings BP!!!
I have been silently exploring the podcasts and forums. I search for random questions and always find several solutions. I am in awe of the wealth of information that BP has to offer. I know I'm in the right place and time to step out of the shadows. I now spend more time on BP than I do on Twitter...or Instagram...and Facebook....Snapchat... (You get the idea)
My name is Robert. I am an active duty military member. Thanks to Uncle Sam, I have rental property in Houston, TX and Norfolk, VA. I have just received orders to Everett, WA. (Look out Everett) I expect to be in Washington in late June.
My current "plan" has been to buy a house, live in it during my tour, (usually 18 to 24 months) and rent it out once I leave. And repeat. I'm open to suggestions on a better way forward.
I am looking to expand my portfolio, build relationships and catapult my family into financial freedom.
Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated.
