This is a well kept SFR in the desirable Parma area. The tenant just renewed their lease for $1,070 and it expires 5/31/19. Hardwood floors throughout the home with the exception of the kitchen.

Turnkey Parma investment property all brick duplex. Each unit has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a huge eat-in kitchen and massive living room. The upstairs unit has been freshly painted and underwent an extensive bathroom renovation and is ready to rent out at $950. The downstairs unit is rented to a great tenant that takes care of all the yardwork in the summer and snow removal in the winter making this an extremely low maintence investment property.  Large list of improvements over the years including vinyl windows, new AC units, roof (about 10 years ago), furnaces (about 10 years old) and updated electrical panels. 2 car detached garage with opener and rear entry security door.

This is an off market duplex in one of the nicest western suburbs of Cleveland.  Strongsville is an A neighborhood without many multifamily properties.  This property is a beautiful brick, side by side, ranch duplex.  The property has new windows and the roof, furnaces, and hot water tanks are all no older than 10 years.  Both sides are being rented at $795/month.  Both units have been updated.

@Tom Kuhen I also have bought a HUD home that I use as my primary residence. We ended up doing a FHA construction loan even though the repairs only totaled about $5,000. After about a year I refinanced into traditional financing. A couple items I learned...

The contractor we used had to already be approved by HUD to do the work. We just went with our realtors referral, which was a huge mistake because when the water was turned on my upstairs bathroom wasn't properly winterized. It turned into a bigger job and this contractor was terrible. We ended up firing him and went with someone different.

I didn't buy this house to use as an investment but generally speaking going through HUD we bought the home well below market value. It's a great way to get started and being an owner occupant gives you an advantage over investors.
