I would really like to hear how these letters went also, I'm looking to send out a series shortly.  My thoughts are to send out a professional letter first followed by a hand written letter then a offer letter.  I'm thinking about spacing them out 4-6 weeks each.

I would like to hear whats worked for other people.

I haven't actually went after larger companies, only its something that's been in back of my mind if I could put together a good plan of attack get in front of the correct individuals involved with the big company.

When you guys call the apartment owners is there a specific approach you use?

Joel: After seeing what you wrote I agree, (some people might not agree with me on this) only with my past company I owned I hired a PA (personal assistant) out of Philippines do to all kinds of office work.  I might go down that road and have them find apartment buildings then manually pull up the owner info from secretary of the state and possibly find a phone number.  Give them a couple weeks @ 40 hours a week to do that I would have a good list.

I have tried to find more info on here regarding specifically Multi-Fam owners lists.  Currently I can go online and get FARM lists from the title company only I know those aren't complete lists.

I would buy a lists if someone knew of a good source for them, I have even went as far as searching for the Apartment in Aparment Finders then searching Secretary of the State for the owners address which works great only take forever!

I'm doing a staggered mailing which works only I need more names to mail to.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a site that I could search for property owners by the apartment name? I was trying to use the address in the county only it doesn't seem to find many of them.  I would even be willing to pay for a site subscription if it was reasonably  priced.

What I did was build some software that scraped a few sites for section 8 apartments then I want to find the owner info so I can send them offer letters.  That might turn up some business.
